Our Story

A Versatile Aluminum Foundry and Pattern Shop

Eagle Aluminum Cast Products, Inc. (EACP) was created in 2002 when Mark Fazakerley and John Workman decided to expand the casting capabilities of The Eagle Group. EACP is now comprised of two divisions: greensand casting and a pattern shop.

EACP Greensand Casting Division

The EACP Green Sand Division has a long history dating back to 1909 in downtown Muskegon, MI.  Of course many improvements have been made to the facility, but EACP still produces aluminum castings in the same building that’s housed a greensand foundry for over 100 years.  When the foundry was added to The Eagle Group, the EACP Green Sand Division had been retooled to provide “paint support” castings for the automotive industry.  EACP is one of two foundries in the USA that still provide these types of castings.  We specialize in long, thin-walled castings and are now supplying decorative castings for the outdoor lighting industry.  Many municipalities are conducting a “renaissance” to return the appeal of their cities to previous historical grandeur, and EACP is proud to provide castings in support of this mission.

EACP Pattern Shop Division

The Pattern Shop has always provided patterns for the Greensand Division.  However, in recent years, they have started to expand capabilities into permanent molds.  The Permanent Mold Division has benefitted from the Pattern Shop engineering team with several new permanent molds and adjustments required on existing molds.  The Engineering Department specializes in designing patterns for long, thin-walled castings–which is a rare service provided in the greensand market.  Using CAD Data and CNC mill equipment, EACP is capable of creating patterns for matchplates, rollovers, core boxes and permanent molds.
